Are you craving a cup of coffee in Chandlers Ford? Or perhaps you’re yearning for a breakfast that promises to do the trick on a Sunday morning?
Say hello to Josie's, a cafe and wine bar in Chandlers Ford, Eastleigh. Having already succeeded in Winchester, Romsey, Petersfield, and Bishops Waltham, Josie's is now welcomed in Chandler's Ford.
In this post, I'll share my honest, first-hand experiences and insights, giving you a glimpse of what Josie's has in store. Whether you're a busy parent, a discerning food lover or someone looking for a cosy coffee nook, this one's for you!
First Impressions of Josie's
Walking into Josie's for the first time, it was buzzing. All the tables were full, and we had to wait about 20 minutes before one became free. As the previous cafes had such a good reputation, I think people in the local area were pleased to have somewhere different to go.

There is a no-booking policy, so it’s first come, first served. I have since been a few times and have not been able to get a table within 5 minutes.
Once we were seated, the place looked super clean, it had a great aesthetic, and the staff were attentive and all working hard. I ordered a buttermilk fried wrap with halloumi, lettuce and harissa mayo, served with homemade slaw. It tasted delicious, was good portion size, and was very filling. It cost £8.50, which I though was quite reasonable.
I also noticed Josie's has a handy click-and-collect service. Ideal for those busy days when you're craving something but simply don't have the time to sit and savour.
Josie's Chandlers Ford's Ethos
One of the core principles at the heart of Josie's is its dedication to sourcing quality, fresh ingredients locally.
Locally sourced ingredients have always been a hallmark of quality, and this promise sets Josie's apart. By prioritising local suppliers, Josie's supports local businesses and ensures that their food is as fresh as possible. So whether you're indulging in their breakfast offerings or catching up with friends over coffee, you can taste the quality in every mouthful.
The Breakfast Experience
On a Sunday morning, we decided to treat ourselves and have a cooked breakfast at Josie's. My family and I ordered different versions of the English breakfast, eager to sample the flavours Josie's is renowned for.
I chose the vegetarian English breakfast, and it was extremely good. The food was well cooked, and the portion size was more than enough. It was a testament to the fresh, quality ingredients.
My husband opted for the full English breakfast. He had a medley of cooked eggs, sausages, crispy bacon, mushrooms and golden-brown toast.
We also ordered a kid's English breakfast for our little one. The smaller portions were perfect for her appetite, and she happily tucked into her meal. She ate every last bit, which speaks volumes about the taste. I have promised to come back to have a milkshake and pancakes for a sweet treat.

Returning for Coffee
I am now a regular at Josie's Chandlers Ford, often popping in to meet up with friends and family for a quick coffee. However, it's usually a tempting cup of hot chocolate for me. I'm on a mission to sample different ones wherever I visit, and the one at Josie's is very nice - rich and velvety.

Before Josie's came into the picture, our usual haunts included the neighbouring Costa or the ever-reliable Waitrose Café just across the road. But Josie's brings something different, which is just what was needed in Chandler's Ford.
